What is a "Creative Brief"?
It's a fancy 'industry' way of saying "instructions to copywriter". TM needs the low down on your product or brand. Who's it aimed at? Why's it better? What's your marketing strategy? How would you describe your offering in human terms - is it dependable, or a risk-taker, is it youthful or wise? What are the keywords you love or hate? Who are your competitors?
What happens after I fill out the form?
After you click "submit", you'll go to a Paypal Payment page, where you choose how many line suggestions you want to buy and how fast you want them. TM prices are way, way below market fees for this kind of work, so in return we ask you pay up front. TM conducts all its financial transactions through Paypal.
How does the machine deliver the lines?
The Machine will deliver 7-10 numbered line choices per "round" that conform to the brief you submitted, and it keeps submitting rounds until you find a line you want to use. It's a two way process. If the machine gets close, you steer it to the lines that feel like they're on the right track and the next round will focus on those creative avenues, until...bingo!
What happens if I don't like the lines?
We keep working on them until you do. All the Machine asks is that you say which ones in any 'round' are close to what you want and give as many notes and comments as you can. The best creative solutions come out of a great dialog.
When do I get my lines?
The standard turnaround time for a round of taglines is three business days.
How do I get my lines?
Each round of lines will come to you from lines [at] taglinemachine [dot] com. You might want to add it to your contact list so your lines don't wind up in your email trash.
